EnergyRight Program

Breland Homes is committed to building new homes that meet energy-efficient standards, and is a partner in the Tennessee Valley Authority-sponsored EnergyRight® program. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has strict guidelines for energy efficiency, and an EnergyRight® Certified Home is at least 15% more energy efficient than a standard home.

To meet these strict guidelines, an independent Home Energy Rater tests and inspects all Breland homes, to ensure each one meets appropriate “green” standards.

Warranty Information and Requests

Breland Homes works with Maverick Builders, formerly known as Centricity, to provide a new home warranty that guarantees your investment. Having an issue in your new Breland home? Your warranty may cover it.

Our Warranties Cover:

  • Workmanship and materials – 1 year
  • Systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) – 2 years
  • Structural – 10 years*

*Structural warranty coverage is also transferable, if you sell your home

What is the process to build a Breland Home?
We pride ourselves on making building a new home an easy and enjoyable experience. We have established a proven process that allows you to trust that your home is monitored and inspected daily while under construction, and stays on schedule. Our onsite agent would be happy to speak with you in more detail about the Breland building process or any other questions you may have.  But first, we will help you pick your one-of-a-kind new home plan and community.  Let’s get started, shall we?
Can Breland Homes make modifications to floor plans?
In order for us to provide you with the best value we have had many professionals and Breland Homeowners review each plan to maximize livability and functionality so, the short answer is no.  With that in mind, you are welcome to ask our sales agent if you have a specific question concerning a modification.
Does Breland Homes use subcontractors? Are they licensed?
To ensure you receive the best combination of quality and value in your new home, we partner with many different vendors, trades and subcontractors that are all licensed and insured in the municipality in your chosen community location.
Will I be able to customize the amenities in my home?
We offer a wide range of the most current design elements to allow you to customize your home, and showcase your own personal style.
Does the builder pay any closing costs?
Yes! Breland Homes Mortgage Service Provider will work with you to provide the most competitive mortgage rates and programs, as well as customer service and on-time closings. Breland Homes and our Mortgage Service Provider will pay jointly up to 1.75% of the purchase price and/or loan amount towards your closing cost.
